Description
Dagr, the diety of day driving away Loki, the diety of night. Loki slowly fades away.
I captured this image along the Susan River. When I looked at the side of the hill, the shadows of the trees were dancing against it. The beginning of daylight and the fading darkness caught my attention. It reminded my of the Norse Gods, Dagr and Loki.
Dagr is the personification and goddess of day. she rode on the white horse of the day Skinfaxi.
The trickster god Loki is considered a night deity.
