Artist's Description
"Work on the Yaquina Bay Bridge began in August 1934. Two years later, on Labor Day, the bridge opened to traffic – 135 feet above sea level and at a cost of $1.3 million. Spanning 3,260 feet, with two 350-foot steel arches and a central 600-foot steel arch, the bridge was one of five designed by Conde McCullough on the Oregon Coast. The Yaquina bay Bridge is an icon and one of the the most recognized bridge in Oregon."
About Mellissa Ray
I am based is Northeastern California in the High Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. I specialize in nature, architecture and abstract. But, if a subject captures my attention, I capture it. For me, photography is how I remember the world through my eyes. It gives my peace. When I am photographing, I forget everything else around me and lose myself into the capturing of a memory. It’s just me and the subject. I am honored to be able to share my world with you. 'Savor the moment to last a lifetime.' Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and images. My images are taken from the heart. https://twitter.com/MellissaRay Note: The "Fine Art America" watermark does not show up on the final product.
